Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
Today we are making some Mana Wheat Stuffing Beer Bread which will be the base of our stuffing recipe. This bread will be somewhat plain as it is intended to be dried out and used for stuffing. However, I’m sure you can find some interesting uses for the bread outside of stuffing.
This is a simple and easy beer bread to make, but this is not the end. Consider this a part one. Our next step will be make some beer bread stuffing.
This bread has the aroma of stuffing and the subtle flavors as well, but still relatively plain at this stage. However, I’m sure there are creative people out there who could come up with another use for left over stuffing beer bread.
- Preheat the oven to 350° fahrenheit. In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt, sage, thyme, allspice, and sage. Add in chopped onions and celery. Pour in Mana wheat while stirring.
- Pour dough into greased up loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Melt butter in microwave or on stove top. Pour on top of the bread. Put back into oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let cool for a 15 minutes and enjoy!
