Ingredients
3 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 bottle of Gwelio Wit
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 tablespoon of butter
Maple Syrup
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350º F. In a medium bowl, add flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly pour beer while mixing with a spoon. Dough should be lumpy. Pour dough into a 9 inch loaf pan and place into the oven for 50-60 minutes. Let the loaf cool completely.
- Slice the loaf around 3/4 inch slices. Crack egg into a small bowl and whisk with the vanilla extract. Pour sugar and cinnamon onto a plate. Dip the bread into the egg, then slide it around your plate with the sugar and cinnamon on both sides and place into a hot skillet. Do this for two slices.
- Fry until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side. Remove from skillet. Add the peanut butter in between the two slices. Add syrup and any fixings you desire. Enjoy.
